Romain Viguier was born in Grenoble (France) and trained in sculpture at Ecole des Beaux Arts de Grenoble. Pursuing his interest in Geometry, he also studied mathematics and physical sciences and subsequently, anatomy, osteology and chemistry at the University of Grenoble. At 23 he was accepted as a full time member in the professional sculptor's studio (Atelier) attached to the fine art school in Grenoble. His art is constructed, organic and environmental.
